(Vista Series/Alpha Console/First Alert)

ARMING SYSTEM:

1. Enter your security code when the ready message is displayed.
2. Press the AWAY key [2].
3. The armed state message will be displayed, accompanied by two beeps from the console as the EXIT DELAY begins.

ARMING PERIMETER ONLY:

1. Enter the security code when the ready message is displayed.
2. Press the STAY key [3].
3. The armed state message will be displayed, accompanied by three beeps from the console as the EXIT DELAY begins.

DISARMING THE SYSTEM:

1. Enter the security code and press OFF [1]. The ready message will be displayed.

RESETTING THE SYSTEM:

1. Enter the security code and press OFF [1].
2. Enter the security code and press OFF [1].

BYPASSING PROTECTION ZONES:

1. Enter the security code. (Note: system must be disarmed first.)
2. Press BYPASS [6] and enter zone number's). IMPORTANT!!!: All single-digit zones must be preceded by a zero. (Example: enter 01 for zone 1.)
3. When finished entering all zone numbers to be bypassed, wait for bypassed zones to be sequentially displayed before arming. The bypass message will be displayed indicating the presence of one or more bypassed zones.
4. Arm the system as usual. (Bypassed zones are unprotected.)
