We have several
systems in place to keep you up-to-date with your accounts every moment.
First, and most important, is the telephone. Our operators are always
happy to answer any questions you might have. We also offer TECH CENTER,
DEALER ACCESS, REMOTE DOWNLOADING, WEEKLY REPORTS, and several other
forms of communication to keep you in touch with us at all times. Here
is a brief description of 3 of our communications systems.
WHAT IS TECH CENTER?
TECH CENTER is an optional Grand
Central Station software product that enables technicians to test alarm
panels without talking to Central Station operators. With TECH CENTER,
technicians dial a stand-alone PC running a Voice Processing application
and key in their information using a telephone keypad. TECH CENTER
allows a technician to place an account on or off no action, then to
call back later and listen to a "word" playback list of the account's
alarm history.

WHAT IS DEALER ACCESS?
Grand Central Station's DEALER
ACCESS system allows dealers to examine, modify, and create their own
account information. Dealers accomplish these tasks by using a standard
personal computer (no special software needed) and modem. When you
connect with our system you can either display the information you need,
download it or print it. You may also make changes to your account
through DEALER ACCESS.
WHAT IS REMOTE DOWNLOADING?
REMOTE DOWNLOADER is a Grand
Central Station custom software system that allows us to fax and/ or
electronically transmit reports, documents, alarm incidents and dealer
activity reports.

- Automatically sends activity reports without operator
intervention.
- Sends incident reports to dealers immediately after incident is
processed. Sends virtually any report we can generate... Immediately!
